Permits have been filed for the construction of a multi-family structure at 5617 Sansom Street in Cobbs Creek, West Philadelphia. The sits sits on the north side of the block between South 56th Street and South 57th Street. The building footprint will span 1,137 square feet. Stephen Sanders is the listed owner.

The site is currently a vacant lot between two two-tory rowhouses at 5615 and 5619 Sansom Street.

The 56th Street Station of the SEPTA Market-Frankford Line and the G bus stop are located three short blocks to the north of the property on Market Street. Three blocks to the south is the Andrew Hamilton School at 5640 Spruce Street and six long blocks to the west is the Sayre High School at 5800 Walnut Street and the Sayre Morris Recreation Center at 5835 Spruce Street.
