A recent site visit has revealed that construction has been completed at a four-story multi-family building at 871 North 20th Street in Fairmount, Lower North Philadelphia. The building features a cellar and three condominium units, each with access to a roof deck that offer extensive views of the skyline thanks to the structure’s prominence above its surroundings. Permits list RDM Construction LLC as the contractor and a construction cost of $241,000.

Ugh, what’s with the ugly utility meter blight? The developer should be ashamed. This will also reduce the selling price/property value.

Unfortunately, the very ugly meters out front I don’t believe are the doings of the developer. I think the city requires this atrocity!! I surely wouldn’t buy anything that looked like this!!

  3. Those electric cables and meters give Fairmount that Ole Mechico touch…..BARF!

  4. Go look around! There are only hundreds of thousands of properties in Philly that have the electrical services and meters AT THE REAR !

  5. I almost missed those gas meters behind the cage. They shoulda stuck the electric in there too and put a street tree in front of it.
