A recent site visit has revealed that construction has still not started at a six-story, 110-unit mixed-use development at 1640-48 North Hancock Street in Olde Kensington, although the site has been cleared and appears ready for excavation. Designed by HDO Architecture, the building will feature commercial space on the ground floor and a garage. The structure will hold 119,155 square feet of floor space. Construction costs are specified at $10.5 million.

  1. In today’s Inky or online news, there was a story about horse carriages being removed from their warehouse and there was no word about the fate of the horse carriages held in this warehouse which would be demoed to start the above mentioned project.

Is this the reason for construction delays?

  2. There is a horse carriage in a picture of the warehouse. Is this the place where horse carriages are kept till their gate can be determined by the Only?

  3. Till their fate can be determined by the Inky?
