A recent site visit by Philadelphia YIMBY has documented the latest construction progress at a 13-unit development at 769 South 10th Street in Bella Vista, South Philadelphia. Designed by Landmark Architectural Design, the building will stand four stories tall, with commercial space at the ground floor and a roof deck.
The project features an attractive, traditionally styled design that makes for a fine fit for its predominantly prewar surroundings. At the moment, the horizontal siding-faced side elevations have already been clad, while the street-facing elevations are yet to receive any curtain wall treatment. However, the paneled windows and framework for a projecting cornice already hint at the building’s anticipated traditional styling.
