Philadelphia YIMBY’s recent site visit has observed sustained construction progress at a four-story, 17-unit apartment building at a href=”https://phillyyimby.com/category/1502-08-North-25th-Street”>1502-08 North 25th Street in Brewerytown, North Philadelphia. The 4,700-square-foot structure will include a basement, a green roof, and a roof deck. Permits list Francis Smith as the contractor and specify a construction cost of $1,9 million.
The project will rise on the west side of the block between Jefferson and West Oxford streets. Fairmount Park and Girard College are situated within a 15-minute walk to the west and south, respectively.

“[S]ustained construction progress has not occurred, at least since March 2022. Comparing today’s photos with those from YIMBY’s March 12, 2022 post shows no progress whatsoever. The only ‘construction’ that has occurred is graffiti (including on windows), abundant trash and a for-sale sign.
Unfortunately, Craig is correct! Hope someone buys it and carries on.
