Permits have been issued for the construction of a three-story, two-unit mixed-use building at 1315 Bainbridge Street in Hawthorne, South Philadelphia. The new building will rise as a vertical extension of a single-story commercial structure (currently home to a pizzeria), which will be partially demolished. Designed by Heta Designs, the building will span 1,746 square feet. Permits list Merit Properties as the contractor.
Permits list a total construction cost of $300,000, which lends an average of $172 per interior square foot.

The Philadelphia Horticultural Society maintained open tract is now occupied by a three and four story multifamily structure. 1315 Bainbridge Street currently represents the lowest density parcel on the block, although as YIMBY states, that is soon to change.
