Permits have been issued for the construction of a three-story residential building at 3618 Wallace Street in Mantua, West Philadelphia. The building will be constructed on a corner parcel bound by 36th Street and Wallace Street. Permits list Buckley Futures LLC as the contractor and a construction cost of $1.6 million. VBC Studio is responsible for the designs.
The project site is a vacant lot spanning an area of 1,440 square feet. The development will yield a total built-up area spanning 15,519 square feet. The three-story semi-attached residential building will offer 16 multi-family residential units in modular style construction.
The area has high walk and transit scores and is serviced by transit lines such as routes number 32, 33, 40, and 64, The site is located near various grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. Philadelphia Museum of Art and Schuylkill River are located a 10-minute drive away.
