Permits have been issued for the construction of a single-family home at 2229 Latona Street in Point Breeze, South Philadelphia. The development will replace a vacant lot with a two-story attached residential structure that will span 1,110 square feet and include a cellar. Fine Print Construction LLC is listed as the contractor. Ian Smith Design Group LLC is the architect.
The next entry in Philadelphia YIMBY’s ongoing “category spotlight” series, which looks at some of the new article categories we introduced at the start of the year, is the tag that tallies ongoing residential developments with four to nine residential units. This category mostly covers smaller developments that generally rise three to five stories tall. A number of such buildings boutique condominium properties where larger-than-average units result in structures that are rather imposing despite their relatively low unit counts.
