Demolition permits have been filed for 3612 L Street in Kensington, located at the corner of East Venago Street and Kensington Avenue, four blocks to the north of the Erie-Torresdale station. Blum Properties LLC is listed as the owner.
The permit calls for the demolition of the two-story building that currently occupies the property. The structure is part of a car dealership that presently occupies the lot. The elevated train runs past the lot’s south side along Kensington Avenue.
