Construction permits have been filed for a two-family structure at 904 North Markoe Street in the Haddington neighborhood of West Philadelphia. The building will replace a vacant lot with a white fence, situated between a pair of two-story rowhouses. The property, which sits close to the corner of North Markoe Street and Westminster Avenue, is owned by IRA Development and MKOS Development.

The documents state that the structure will include a roof deck and an access structure with stairs leading to the roof.

The site is located a block southwest of Lancaster Avenue, a local thoroughfare with ample retail and the 10 trolley that connects to University City. Clara Mohammad Square sits two blocks north and features abundant green space and a playground. Similar features may be found at Mill Creek Playground at the corner of Brown Street and North 47th Street to the south. The park includes space for children, along with an adult softball field, two basketball courts, and a public pool.
