Permits have been filed for the construction of a single-family structure at 1955 North 4th Street in Norris Square, North Philadelphia. The site sits close to the corner of North 4th Street and West Norris Street. The new structure will rise from a vacant site located between two three-story prewar rowhouses. Emerald Properties Of Philadelphia LLC is the listed owner.
The structure will span a 625-square-foot footprint and will include a cellar and a roof deck with an access structure.
The property sits within a short walking distance of the Berks Station on the Market-Frankford SEPTA line, the Temple University commuter rail station, Norris Square Park, the McKinley William School, and Cousin’s supermarket, a major local retailer. The site sits on the periphery of the greater area of Temple University, a 15-minute walk to the west.
