The building is located between Arch Street and Race Street and will be demolished as part of the City of Philadelphia Demolition Program, with a cost of work of $12,820. The property is owned by Roland E. Shelton Sr. The contractor listed for the work is RDS Contracting Group Inc.
The building features a deep porch, a brown brick-clad façade, and an ornate cornice. When the demolition is soon complete, an erosion control mat with seed on lot will be added to the site as part of the job, as well as stucco to be added to the soon-to-be blank walls of 139 and 143 North Lindenwood Street.
