Permits have been filed for the construction of a three-story multi-family structure at 1834 North 18th Street in Cecil B. Moore, North Philadelphia, near Temple University. The property is located on the west side of the block between West Berks Street and West Montgomery Avenue. The building will have a footprint that spans 1,829 square feet. Philadelphia Housing Authority is the listed owner.

The development will replace a vacant three-story, brick-clad prewar building. The new structure will have a basement with egress wells and a roof deck along with an access structure.

The 2 and 33 buses stop within two short blocks to the east and west, respectively, on West Berks Street. The Temple University campus sits within a ten-minute walk to the east, as does the Cecil B. Moore Station on the Broad Street SEPTA line, which offers a 15-minute ride to Center City.
