Permits have been filed for the construction of a multi-family structure at 2560 Hope Street in West Kensington. The building will rise from a 1,224-square-foot footprint on the west side of the block between West Huntingdon Street and West Cumberland Street. Peroli LLC is the listed owner.

The site is currently a vacant lot overgrown with vegetation. According to the documents, the building will feature a roof deck with multiple access structures.

The 3 and 39 buses stop at the corner of Kensington and Cumberland Avenue, located four short blocks to the east on the southeast corner of the block. The Huntingdon station of the Market-Frankford SEPTA line is located at the corner of Kensington Avenue and Huntingdon Street several short blocks to the east, and the York-Dauphin station sits two long bocks to the southeast. One block to the south of the property is the Hunter Elementary School at 2400 North Howard Street. One block to the west is the Waterloo Playground.
