Permits Issued for a 23-Unit Structure at 4077-83 Lancaster Avenue in Belmont, West Philadelphia

Permits have been issued construction of a 23-unit multi-family extension at 4077-83 Lancaster Avenue in Belmont, West Philadelphia. The project will include a two-story addition above the existing single-story retail structure. Eight bicycle spaces will be included in the development. The building will yield 27,792 square feet of space upon the completion of the 17,160-square-foot addition.

The existing building features an unremarkable façade, with white steel cladding covering the upper portion of the structure. Garage gates cover the lower floor of the building.

The project is one of the largest proposed developments in the area. New residents will bolster the urban corridor, which has the potential to become one a robust pedestrian district.

Transit access is offered via the route 10 trolley which runs along Lancaster Avenue close to the property.

No completion date is not known at the moment.
