Permits have been issued for the construction of a three-story attached residential structure at 1127 South 20th Street in Point Breeze, Philadelphia. The building will be located on a block bound by Alter Street, Ellsworth Street, and 19th Street, facing 20th Street. The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 1,184 square feet. Fidelis Engineering Inc is responsible for the designs. Permits list Walnut Street Development LLC as the contractor and a total construction cost of $300,000.
The scope of work consists of constructing a three-story multi-family residential building, yielding a total built-up area of 1,890 square feet. The apartment building will have three dwelling units, along with a cellar, a rear deck, a roof deck, and a roof deck access structure. Separate permits are required for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire work on the project.
The building facade will rise to a height of 35 feet. A rear yard running 14 feet deep, along with open landscaped area spanning 296 square feet will also be developed on the site.
The area has good walk and transit scores and is serviced by transit lines such as routes number 7, 17, 64, and more. The site is located in a residential neighborhood, located a 12-minute walk from Ellsworth-Federal station. A project application was submitted. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
