Permits have been issued for the construction of a new single-story residential project proposed for development at 426-40 North 8th Street in Callowhill, Philadelphia. The building will be constructed on a parcel spanning 0.66 acres, situated mid-block on a parcel bound by Callowhill Street, North 8th Street, and North 9th Street.

Cro Construction LLC is listed as the contractor. Permits list MJ Settelen Construction LLC as the demolition contractor. Pomegranate LLC is responsible for the designs.

The scope of work includes the construction of a single-story residential building spanning an area of 1,303 square feet. The project documents also propose interior demolition of non-load brewing partition walls and ceilings. The new structure will serve as an accessory structure to the existing building on the site.

The project has an allocated total construction cost $125,000. Separate permits are required for demolition, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression work.
