Thomas Curran is the listed contractor.
According the filing, the structure holds 1,200 square feet of floor space. The job, with a listed cost of $12,600, will include erosion control with lot seeding and application of stucco to the to-be-exposed walls on adjacent two-story prewar rowhouses at 1826 and 1830 McClellan Street. The job is listed as a minor demolition and is a part of the City of Philadelphia Demolition Program.
Two blocks to the north and one block to the east is the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School at 1631 South 18th Street, adjacent to the St. Thomas Aquinas Church and the Aquinas Community Center. The property also sits close to the Diversified Community Services-Dixon House, a community center located at 1920 South 20th Street.
