Permits have been filed for the demolition of a two-story single-family dwelling at 1735 Seybert Street in the Cecil B. Moore neighborhood of North Philadelphia. The vacant building, located on a block between North 17th Street and North 18th Street, will be demolished as part of the City of Philadelphia Demolition Program. The building spans a gross area of 1,200 square feet and the cost of work will be $13,995. The property is owned by Rose Andrews and Lillian Butler. FH Demolition is the specified contractor.
The job includes application of stucco to the to-be-exposed walls of next door structures at 1733 and 1737 Seybert Street, as well as removal of a party wall at 1737 Seybert Street.
The 2 bus stops half a block to the east. Ingersoll Park sits two blocks further to the east. Temple University and Girard College are both located within a 15-minute walk.
