A construction permit has been filed for 1916 North Stanley Street in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood in North Philadelphia. The permit states that Infinity Re Holdings III is the current owner of the property.
The building sits in a row home neighborhood typical for North Philadelphia. However, many houses on the block have been painted with vibrant hues, bringing a lot of color to the streetscape. With each property nearly 100 years old, the rooflines stand out with overhanging parapets and corners topped with pointed crowns.
The attached building would rise on a currently empty lot situated between two two-story row homes. The permit for the single-family household also calls for a cellar.
The building sits across the street from the James G. Blaine School and within an 11-minute drive from the North Philadelphia station at the corner of North Broad Street and West Glenwood Avenue.
