Permits have been filed for 2633 Annin Street in Grays Ferry, South Philadelphia. Plans call for a four-story, five-unit structure with a finished basement and rooftop deck. The new construction units will be apartments. The building will replace what is currently a vacant lot with a few trees.
Grays Ferry has seen an explosion of new development in recent times with numerous new single family homes being built throughout the neighborhood. Rather than the typical row house construction that is commonplace in the neighborhood, it is positive to see a five-unit structure get built, adding density to the booming neighborhood.
GTMO Development LLC is listed as the contractor. Estimated costs for construction is approximated at $400,000.
