Permits have been filed for the demolition of a two-story single-family dwelling at 21 North 58th Street in Haddington, West Philadelphia. The prewar property is located at the corner of North 58th Street and Commerce Street. The residential structure will be demolished as part of the City of Philadelphia Demolition Program. The cost of work is $17,299. The property is owned by Drugbeh Worsedeh C. Thomas Curran is the contractor listed for the work.

The structure features a brick façade with a covered porch in front of the building. The work will include an erosion control mat with seed on lot and stucco to be added to 19 West 58th Street next door once the demolition. No sidewalk replacement work will be carried out.

The 56th Street station of the Market-Frankford SEPTA line sits one long block and three short blocks to the east on Market Street, which is also serviced by the 31 bus. The Shepard Recreation Center sits within a ten-minute walk to the north. Haddington Woods, a large park located along Cobbs Creek and Indian Creek, is located within a 15-minute walk to the west.

  1. In-person submission Submit all required materials directly to PWD before filing your permit application. Then, fill out and submit your permit application at Permit and License Center in the MSB. For demolition of any building more than: Three stories tall 40 ft.
