The former single-family dwelling is located between North 24th Street and North 25th Street. The structure will be torn down as part of the City of Philadelphia Demolition Program, with a cost of the work estimated at $11,613. JV 2441 W Seybert St LLC is the property owner. The listed contractor is Monticello Contractors Inc.
The job includes the replacement of sidewalks in front of 2441 and 2443 West Seybert Street as well as the cleaning and grading of the lot at 1443 West Seybert Street.
A block to the east is the imposing Art Deco-styled Vaux Big Picture High School located at 2300 Master Street. The 15 trolley stops within a five-minute walk to the south on Girard Avenue, and the 7 bus stops at 27th Street and Thompson Street within a five-minute walk to the west.
