Permits have been filed for the demolition of a single-story commercial building at 2226-34 North Front Street in Norris Square, North Philadelphia, on the border with Kensington. The property is situated on the west side of the block between West Susquehanna Avenue and West Dauphin Street. Front Street Row LLC is the listed owner.
The site is currently occupied by a single structure listed as five separate properties at numbers 2226, 2228, 2230, 2232, and 2234. In addition to demolition, the permits also call for merging the properties into one lot.
The York-Dauphin station of the Market-Frankford SEPTA line is a block to the north. The 3 bus stops at the corner of North Front Street and West Susquehanna Avenue, located half a block to the south. Norris Square Park sits two short blocks to the southwest.
