A recent site visit by Philadelphia YIMBY has noted that construction work is complete at a four-story, four-unit residential building at 2222 North Howard Street in Norris Square. Designed by MC3 Architects, the structure replaced a vacant lot on a block between West Dauphin Street, North Howard Street, and Waterloo Street. Permits list J&T Construction as the contractor and indicate a construction cost of $252,500.

The buildings rises 38 feet and spans 2,340 square feet, with units ranging from 600 to 757 square feet. The building features a roof deck and a 13-foot-deep rear yard.

The building is decidedly contemporary in style, although the red brick pays homage to the surrounding prewar rowhouse architecture.

2222 North Howard Street is situated in a relatively convenient location, standing one short block north of Norris Square Park and two short blocks to the southwest of the York-Dauphin station on the Market-Frankford subway line. Route 3, 39, and 89 buses stop within a several-block radius.
