A recent site visit by Philadelphia YIMBY has confirmed that construction work is almost entirely complete at 3151 Market Street in University City, West Philadelphia. The building rises on the north side of Market Street between North 30th and North 32nd streets, with John F. Kennedy Boulevard to the north. Designed by Gensler and developed by Brandywine Realty Trust, the building will rise 226 feet and 14 stories and will span 495,000 square feet. The structure will house office and laboratory space, as well as retail on the ground floor.

A recent site visit by Philadelphia YIMBY has observed that construction work is nearly complete at an 11-townhouse development at 244-58 North 2nd Street in the Old City section of Center City. Designed by LandMark Architectural Design, each townhouse stands four stories tall and spans nearly 5,000 square feet, and feature a cellar, a roof deck, an elevator, and a two-car garage. Construction Nearly Complete at The Box Factory Lofts at 31 East Columbia Avenue in Fishtown

A recent site visit by Philadelphia YIMBY has confirmed that construction work is largely complete at the eight-story, 63-unit Box Factory Lofts at 31 East Columbia Avenue in Fishtown. Designed by SITIO Architecture + Urbanism, the structure expands the original Box Factory Lofts, a four-story prewar industrial building located at 21 East Columbia Avenue with 20 rental units. The new building will add 67,342 square of feet to the development and introduce a new shared lobby for the two structures, as well as a common courtyard. The new building will feature ground-level retail, elevator service, covered parking for ten cars (including three car share and one accessible space) and 30 bicycles, and a roof deck. Permits list Equinox Management and Construction as the contractor and indicate a construction cost of $13 million.

Philly YIMBY’s recent site visit has observed that construction is well underway at The Mark, a 34-story, 363-unit high-rise building at 3615 Chestnut Street in University City, West Philadelphia. The 414-foot-tall tower will rise from a through-block lot extending from Chestnut Street to the south and Ludlow Street to the north. Designed by the BKV Group and developed by Landmark Properties, the building will span 415,849 square feet and will feature extensive amenity space and parking for 70 cars and 96 bicycles.
