Designed by CANNODesign, the development will feature 3,538 square feet of commercial space at the ground floor. Also at ground level will be parking space for 38 cars.
A recent site visit by Philadelphia YIMBY has observed significant construction progress at a seven-story mixed-use building at 225-39 North 13th Street in Chinatown, Center City. Designed by SLP Architectural Services, the development will feature commercial space at ground level and 81 residential units. In total, the structure will span 60,111 square feet.
Philly YIMBY’s recent site visit has noted that construction work has still not started at a four-story, ten-unit development planned at 6552 Germantown Avenue in Mount Airy, Northwest Philadelphia, although permits had been issued in August 2020. The project will rise on a mid-block site on the west side of the block between Good and West Hotter streets. Designed by Designblendz, the building will span 17,062 square feet and will feature ground floor commercial space and a roof deck. Permits list Designblendz Home Solutions as the contractor and specify a construction cost of $1.8 million.
A recent site visit by Philadelphia YIMBY has noted that construction work is complete at a four-story, four-unit residential building at 2222 North Howard Street in Norris Square. Designed by MC3 Architects, the structure replaced a vacant lot on a block between West Dauphin Street, North Howard Street, and Waterloo Street. Permits list J&T Construction as the contractor and indicate a construction cost of $252,500.

The development replaces a two-story prewar rowhome situated on the north side of the block between South 22nd and South 23rd streets. Designed by J.O.S. Serratore & Company Architects, the structure will span 2,520 square feet and will feature a cellar and a roof deck. Permits list Kildare Construction as the contractor.
