Updated plans have been shared for The Marquis, a large mixed-use development proposed at 27 South 3rd Street in Easton, PA. Designed by Bernardon, the building will stand seven stories tall and feature commercial space on the ground floor. The project will hold somewhere between 270 and 280 apartments, with rents starting around $1,300 per month, and 305 parking spaces, of which some being available to the public. Building amenities will include a dog park, pool, a picnic area, and a roof deck. The design has been updated design since YIMBY last shared renderings in September 2021.
Construction work is nearly complete at The Elm at 114 Forrest Avenue, a multi-family building in downtown Narberth, a town situated near the Philadelphia city line. Designed by Bernardon, the structure rises four stories tall and features 56 apartments. Amenities feature a package room, a fitness center, conference room, outdoor seating, and a catering/dining space geared for events. A total of 52 parking spaces are offered below grade, with a curb cut across the sidewalk.
New renderings have been revealed for a 157-unit mixed-use building at 419 Bainbridge Street in Queen Village, South Philadelphia. Designed by Bernardon, the development will proceed by right, and will stand seven stories tall upon completion. Two commercial spaces will be situated on the ground floor along Bainbridge Street. The building will feature a roof deck and parking for 35 cars and 82 bicycles.
Philly YIMBY’s recent site visit revealed no signs of impending demolition nor construction at the site of a seven-story, 220-unit residential building proposed at 417-25 Callowhill Street in Northern Liberties. Designed by Bernardon, the building be situated just to the north of Old City and will offer apartments ranging from studios to two-bedroom apartments, 29,980 square feet of amenities, and an expansive roof deck. Parking for 71 vehicles will also be provided.
Construction is making steady progress at The Hive Residences, a 256-unit multi-family development underway at 107 North 7th Street in Allentown, PA. Designed by BERNARDON and developed by City Center Allentown, the complex will consist of two new buildings, each standing four stories tall, with retail space on the ground floor and live-work arrangements in select units.
