A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has confirmed that construction work is complete at a three-story single-family rowhouse at 769 South 20th Street in Graduate Hospital, South Philadelphia. The new development replaces a vacant lot sited on the east side of the block between Fitzwater Street and Catharine Street. Designed by KCA Design Associates, the building spans 2,980 square feet and features a basement and a roof deck. Permits list the New Philadelphia Building and Design Group as the contractor.

Philly YIMBY’s recent site visit has confirmed that construction work is complete at a six-unit residential development at 1712 Christian Street in Graduate Hospital, South Philadelphia. The structures replace two three-story prewar rowhouses on a through-block lot that stretches from Christian Street to the north to Montrose Street to the south. Designed by Moto Designshop, the complex consists of two rowhouses situated at either end of the site, each rising three stories and featuring three units, with a 33-foot-long rear yard in between. Both structures will feature rear and roof decks. Permits list Made Construction as the contractor and a construction cost of $400,000.

A recent site visit by Philadelphia YIMBY has observed that construction work is nearing completion at Broad and Washington, a 15-story, 1,111-unit complex under construction at 1001 South Broad Street in Hawthorne, South Philadelphia. Designed by the BKV Group, the development will span an entire city block at the northeast corner of the intersection of Broad Street and Washington Avenue. The construction price tag for the 1,516,218-square-foot complex stands at almost $306 million.

Designed by Jibe Design, the development is situated on a block bound by Reed Street, South 20th Street, Gerritt Street, and South 21st Street. Construction Nearly Complete at 3151 Market Street in University City, West Philadelphia

A recent site visit by Philadelphia YIMBY has confirmed that construction work is almost entirely complete at 3151 Market Street in University City, West Philadelphia. The building rises on the north side of Market Street between North 30th and North 32nd streets, with John F. Kennedy Boulevard to the north. Designed by Gensler and developed by Brandywine Realty Trust, the building will rise 226 feet and 14 stories and will span 495,000 square feet. The structure will house office and laboratory space, as well as retail on the ground floor.

Designed by LandMark Architectural Design, each townhouse stands four stories tall and spans nearly 5,000 square feet, and feature a cellar, a roof deck, an elevator, and a two-car garage. Construction Nearly Complete at The Box Factory Lofts at 31 East Columbia Avenue in Fishtown

A recent site visit by Philadelphia YIMBY has confirmed that construction work is largely complete at the eight-story, 63-unit Box Factory Lofts at 31 East Columbia Avenue in Fishtown. Designed by SITIO Architecture + Urbanism, the structure expands the original Box Factory Lofts, a four-story prewar industrial building located at 21 East Columbia Avenue with 20 rental units. The new building will add 67,342 square of feet to the development and introduce a new shared lobby for the two structures, as well as a common courtyard. The new building will feature ground-level retail, elevator service, covered parking for ten cars (including three car share and one accessible space) and 30 bicycles, and a roof deck. Permits list Equinox Management and Construction as the contractor and indicate a construction cost of $13 million.

The 414-foot-tall tower will rise from a through-block lot extending from Chestnut Street to the south and Ludlow Street to the north. Designed by the BKV Group and developed by Landmark Properties, the building will span 415,849 square feet and will feature extensive amenity space and parking for 70 cars and 96 bicycles.
