A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has revealed that a construction site has been cleared for The Mark, a 34-story, 363-unit high-rise building at 3615 Chestnut Street in University City, West Philadelphia. The 414-foot-tall tower will rise from a through-block lot extending from Chestnut Street to the south and Ludlow Street to the north. Designed by the BKV Group and developed by Landmark Properties, the building will span 415,849 square feet and will feature extensive amenity space and parking for 70 cars and 96 bicycles. The latest permit, which covers the construction of the core and shell for the tower, lists Landmark Urban Construction PA as the contractor and specifies a construction cost of $45.1 million, of which $100,000 is allocated toward plumbing work.

Permits Issued for The Mark at 3615 Chestnut Street in University City, West Philadelphia

Permits have been issued for the construction of a three-story, three-unit rowhouse at 2442 North Marshall Street in North Philadelphia East. The new building will rise from a vacant lot located on the west side of the block between West York Street and West Cumberland Street. Designed by JT Ran Expediting, the structure will span 3,669 square feet (with an average of over 1,200 square feet per apartment) and will feature a basement and a roof deck. Permits list JPL Construction as the contractor and specify a construction cost of $280,000, of which $40,000 is allocated toward construction.

Renderings Revealed for The Mark at 3615 Chestnut Street in University City, West Philadelphia

Renderings have been revealed for a massive new multi-family development called The Mark, located at 3615 Chestnut Street in University CityWest Philadelphia. Upon completion, the building will officially stand 34 stories tall, though a mechanical penthouse at the top will stretch the height higher, to just over 400 feet tall, a very sizable addition to this location. Designed by BKV Group and developed by Landmark Properties, the tower will hold 363 residential units, with 236 standard units and 127 group living units. Accessed from Ludlow Street, the development will hold space for 70 cars and 96 bicycles.
