Permits have been filed for the construction of a two-family residential structure at 2632 Manton Street in Grays Ferry, South Philadelphia. The property is located between South 26th Street and South 27th Street. Demolition permits were filed for the two-story structure at the site last month, as YIMBY reported. The new building’s footprint will span 733 square feet. The property is owned by Six Ten Partners LLC.
According to the permits, the attached structure will feature a roof deck with an access structure.
Wharton Square Playground and D. Finnegan Playground both sit within a five- to 10-minute walk within the property. The 12 and 64 buses stop nearby on Grays Ferry Avenue. Nine short blocks and two long blocks to the south is the Vare Recreation Center at 2600 Morris Street, offering a field, basketball courts, and a public pool.
