Building permits have been issued for the construction of a three-story single-family home at 9741 Krewstown Road in Bustleton, Northeast Philadelphia. The building will rise from a presently vacant lot situated on the southeast side of the block between Country Lane and Serota Place. The proposed development will span 4,458 interior square feet. The project team consists of Zafrani Betsaiel and Alon Ester Ofir as the owners, Sanbar Design (aka SanBarDesign) as the architect, and 6 Star Construction as the contractor.

Permits Issued for 436 Diamond Street in Norris Square, North Philadelphia

Permits have been issued for the construction of a three-story mixed-use building at 436 Diamond Street in Norris Square, North Philadelphia. The structure will replace a vacant lot at the southwest corner of Diamond and North Orkney Street. Designed by SanBarDesign, the project will span 1,883 square feet and will feature a basement, commercial space at the ground level and two residential units above. Permits list Elkins LTD as the contractor and specify a construction cost of $280,000, of which $55,000 is allocated toward construction.

Construction Anticipated at 1425 North 7th Street in Ludlow, North Philadelphia

Last August, YIMBY reported that permits were issued for the construction of a three-story, three-unit apartment building at 1425 North 7th Street in Ludlow, North Philadelphia. Our recent site visit, however, has revealed that, nearly a year since, no construction has yet taken place for the proposed structure. Designed by SanBarDesign, the structure will span 3,369 square feet and will feature a cellar, a 753-square-foot roof deck, and roughly nine-foot ceilings. Permits list Santech Construction Corp. as the contractor and a construction cost of $230,000.
