Permits have been filed for the construction of a single family dwelling at 2724 Earp Street in the Grays Ferry neighborhood in South Philadelphia. The building will be located in the middle of the 2700 block of Earp Street between 27th and 28th streets. The owner of the land is the Philadelphia Land Bank.

The site is plopped among similarly styled row homes stretching all around the block and neighborhood. Aside from a large parking lot near the western end of the block, this lot is among the last vacant sites remaining on this stretch of the street. In 2019, a three-story rowhouse was erected next door at 2722 Earp Street.

The proposed single family dwelling specified in the documents is the most predictable typology as just about every single home in the area is of this type.
