Permits have been filed for the construction of a three-story single-family structure at 2028 Dorrance Street in West Passyunk, South Philadelphia. The structure will replace a vacant lot overgrown with grass and trees. The property is located on the west side of the block between Snyder Avenue and McKean Street. Elle TY Woods and Gozde Yilmaz are the listed owners.
The structure fill fill a gap between two two-story prewar rowhouses. According to the documents, the third floor will be set back and there will be a roof deck with an access structure.
The Stephen Girard School, a public school that teaches kindergarten through fourth grade, is located a block to the south. the 17 and 79 buses stop within the block. The Snyder Station of the Broad Street line sits around ten blocks east on South Broad Street and Snyder Avenue.
