The vacant structure is clad in brick with stone details on the front of the building, with “Kresce” chiseled on a stone panel at the top. A portion of the first floor is space for a loading dock for the Point Breeze Super Market.
Point Breeze Avenue is a busy commercial corridor. The 7 bus stops at the corner of Reed Street and South 22nd Street located on the same block as the property. Two blocks to the west and one block to the north is the Wharton Square Playground at 2300 Wharton Street, which is a park with alleys, benches, and two basketball courts.
