Permits have been filed for the construction of two detached warehouse structures at 510 East Haines Street in East Germantown, Northwest Philadelphia. The buildings will span a combined footprint of 3,365 square feet on the southeast side of the block between Musgrave Street and Magnolia Street. Haines St Holdings LLC is the listed owner. J D Fedele Construction Demo is the listed contractor.

The proposal follows an earlier permit filing for the demolition of the brick-clad structure currently at the site. Its garage is prominent on the front of the structure as it takes up nearly the whole first floor. The building will be demolished by mechanical methods along with hand-held tools.

The 18 bus stops at the corner of Chew Avenue and East Haines Street, located two blocks to the north. The Germantown station on the Chestnut Hill East SEPTA commuter rail line is located several blocks to the south. One block to the east of the property is the Waterview Recreation Center at 5826 McMahon Street.
