One of the largest developments in the city of Camden was constructed just a few years ago. The project, called the TRIAD1828 Centre, stands next to the Delaware River and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, which is not far from where the Campbell’s Stadium used to stand. The tower stands 18 stories above the ground, with a full height rising 220 feet high. The first seven levels are designated for a parking garage, with office floors rising above the parking podium. The building was originally developed by Liberty Property Trust, which backed out and allowed NFI Corp., Conner Strong & Buckelew, and the Michaels Organization to take over ownership of the property. The project went through several design iterations, with one featuring a curving glass tower standing as high as the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. The final design was crafted by Robert A.M. Stern Architects.
The development was first revealed at the end of 2015, originally featuring two towers that would have dominated the area just to the south of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge with a floor count of 20. The finalized renderings were revealed three months after the groundbreaking ceremony, which took place in December 2017. The podium was constructed in prefabricated pieces.
After the parking structure topped out, the core was rising from the center. In February 2018, steel work commenced for the future office space. The core topped out at the 16th floor in April, and steel quickly climbed to top. By 2019, work was in progress at the top of the structure, and the building opened for business later in the year.

Next time I visit the waterfront at Penns Landing, I will be sure to look for it. 😉
I am pleased knowing that Philadelphia finally has a complimentary building near the Camden waterfront.
If you look from City Hall ground level on Market St where Broad Street goes around City Hall to Broad Street North, you can see the above mentioned building.
You are correct, Janes! 🙂
That tower is clearly visible from Market Street east.
Such a delight! 😀
