Permits have been issued for the construction of a three-story, three-unit residential building at 2120 North 7th Street in North Philadelphia East. The development will replace a vacant located on the north side of the block between 7th Street and Diamond Street. Designed by 24 Seven Design Group Inc, the building will span 804 square feet and will feature a basement and roof deck. Permits list Jacob Y. Mott Trading Inc. as the property owner, Christopher Johnson as the contractor, and a construction cost of $482,400.
The project site spans an area of 1,053 square feet. The three-story apartment building will rise to a height of 38 feet. The building will feature three dwelling units, a basement, and a roof deck. Open landscaped area spanning 248 square feet will be developed on the site.
2120 North 7th Street will rise in the vicinity of Temple University, which is situated within a six- to eight-minute walk to the west (with the Edberg-Olson Hall and football field and the Tyler School of Art and Architecture being the nearest university facilities to the site). The 47 bus stops up the block at Susquehanna Avenue; the The Temple University regional rail station is located within a seven-minute walk to the southwest; and the Susquehanna-Dauphin SEPTA Station on the Broad Street Line is situated within a 12-minute walk to the northwest.
