This project is only half a block from Philadelphia Housing Authority’s massive redevelopment of its Fairhill Apartment towers and surroundings.
The two towers are being converted into senior housing. The low rise structures have been demolished and new homes are scheduled for construction.
If it’s a mixed income development a la Sharswood, expect success. If concentrated poverty, not so much.
