Permits have been issued for the construction of a three-story single-family residential building at 1236 North 28th Street in Brewerytown, North Philadelphia. The building will replace an existing two-story prewar rowhouse located at the west side of the block between West Stiles Street and West Thompson Street. The new structure will span 2,682 square feet and feature a roof deck. The project team consists of Ray Crossan as the design professional and SL Construction as the contractor.
Construction costs are listed at $250,500, lending an average of $93 per interior square foot. Permits allocate $151,000 toward general construction work, $15,000 for electrical work, $16,500 for mechanical work, $28,000 for plumbing work, and $40,000 for excavation work.
