Permits have been filed for the demolition of a vacant two-story prewar rowhouse at 2416 North Mole Street in Glenwood, North Philadelphia. The single-family dwelling is located between West York Street and West Cumberland Street and will be torn down as a part of the City of Philadelphia Demolition Program at a cost of $14,200. Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority is the property owner. FH Demolition is the listed contractor.

The structure features a brick-clad exterior with white paint on the first floor, with the entrance and windows boarded up. Before the work starts, a six-foot high fence will be placed in the front and the back of the structure. Once the demolition is complete, stucco will be added to 2614 North Mole Street next door, the lot at 2418 North Mole Street will be cleaned and graded, and the sidewalk in front of 2416 and 2418 North Mole Street will be replaced.

The 39 bus stops at the corner of West Dauphin Street and North 21st Street, one block to the west of the property. The KIPP Philadelphia Preparatory Academy is located one block to the north of the property. Temple University sits within a 10-minute walk to the southeast.
