Designed by Gnome Architects and developed by Catalyst City Development, the complex will feature a refined red brick facade that echoes classic Philadelphia rowhouses, combined with large modern windows with industrial-style black trim. Each townhouse will feature a private roof deck, and some will include private parking.

Philadelphia YIMBY’s month-long First Anniversary Countdown, which looks at the most frequently mentioned article categories over the course of the past year, makes it past the one-third-of-the-way mark as it finds the neighborhood of Fishtown at the 20th place, with a total of 40 category tags. It is hardly surprising to see this well-known, long-running development hotspot among last year’s top 20 most frequently mentioned categories. If anything, it is impressive that the increasingly built-out neighborhood is still churning out new development at such a consistent rate even after more than twenty years of steady growth.

Renderings Revealed for a Nine-Townhome Development at 2001-13 Abigail Street in Fishtown, Kensington

Renderings have been revealed for a four-story, nine-townhome development at 2002-13 Abigail Street in Fishtown, Kensington. The homes feature two design variants, where the five at the northwest corner will include parking, while the four homes to the southeast will not. Catalyst City Development, the developer, is also in charge of the residential conversion of the historic Harbisons Dairy across the street, which YIMBY covered last October.
