The Drexel College of Nursing and Health Professions is shaping up to look like its renderings as the exterior approaches completion. The building, which is also known as the Wexford Drexel Academic Tower, is located at 3601 Filbert Street in University City, West Philadelphia. Designed by Ballinger and developed by Wexford Science & Technology LLC, the structure rises to a height of 12 stories and 185 feet. The remainder of the facade with brown glazed glass and metal highlights will be installed in the near future.

The Drexel College of Nursing and Health Professions (also known as the Wexford Drexel Academic Tower) at 3601 Filbert Street has joined the West Philadelphia skyline as the structure of the tower has been recently topped out. The steel frame now reaches its final height of 185 feet and 12 stories. Designed by Ballinger and developed by Wexford Science & Technology LLC, and adds significant bulk to the 14-acre uCity Square project. The structure is one of many new developments to recently rise in University City.

Structure Nearly Complete at Drexel College of Nursing and Health Professions in University City, West Philadelphia

Structural framing continues to progress at the Drexel College of Nursing and Health Professions, a high-rise building that is a part of the 14-acre uCity Square development in University City, West Philadelphia. Designed by Ballinger and developed by Wexford Science and Technology LLC, the tower will rise 12 stories and 185 feet tall. The building will yield 174,000 square feet of space and will feature a combination of office and classroom space and will help extend Drexel University’s campus farther west.
