Zoning permits have been filed for 1136 Carpenter Street in the Hawthorne neighborhood in South Philadelphia. Located near the corner of 12th and Carpenter Street, the new building will be an attached structure adjacent to the neighboring building to the east. The new building will also sit within a little over 10 minutes of a walking distance from the iconic Pat’s King of Steaks and Geno’s Steaks.
The proposed building will sit on the site that is currently a lot covered with grass with an estimated area of 975 square feet. The permit filing stated that the building will be used for a single-family household. The future property will sport three stories.
No construction or completion date has been announced yet.
