Permits have been filed for the construction of a three-story single-family structure at 1937 East Harold Street in East Kensington. The building will rise from a 450-square-foot footprint on the east side of the block between Jasper Street and Emerald Street. 10th Fairmount LLC is the listed owner.

The site of the property is currently a driveway that leads to a single-story garage. According to the documents, the new structure will feature a roof deck along with a roof access structure. The building will also have a full basement with an egress well.

The Huntingdon Station of the Market-Frankford line sits two blocks to the northwest of the property. The 3 bus stops at the corner of Kensington Avenue and East Huntingdon Street, directly under the Huntingdon Station. Four short blocks to the south is the Henry A. Brown Elementary School at 1946 East Sergeant Street.
