Exterior work is nearing completion at Renaissance Estates, a low-rise residential development located at 3320 South 20th Street in Packer Park, South Philadelphia. Developed by Mansion Global, the project consists of 14 four-story townhouses with two-car garages, private elevators, and roof decks offering sweeping views of the skyline. The homes will yield at least 3,200 square feet of space, with three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms.
The exteriors turned out similar to what renderings projected, aside from the fact that renderings depicted three-story rather than four-story homes. The buildings feature red brick and traditionally styled white cornices. The rims of the doors and windows are framed with white accents, and dormer windows sit within the metal-sheathed roof. The homes open up to a pedestrian-only walkway with green space.
The structures currently sit nearly finished, with sections of the white trim still in progress, which will be applied atop the blue wrap. On the southern row of homes, the backs are yet to receive their gray cladding. The rears of the homes have small decks that accompany larger decks at the summits.
The homes sit at the intersection of South 20th Street and Hartranft Street in the predominantly residential Packer Park neighborhood, steps away from an 80-unit multi-family development on which YIMBY recently reported.
FDR Park sits two blocks to the south. The NRG Station on the Broad Street line is located within a 15-minute walk to the southeast.
The homes start at $960,000. Completion is anticipated in mid-2021.
