Updated Permits Issued for a Seven-Unit Structure at 428-38 Master Street in Olde Kensington

New permits have been issued for a four-story, seven-unit structure planned at 428-38 Master Street in Olde Kensington. The update adds an extra apartment to the earlier plan, which YIMBY shared in January. The development will offer seven car spaces, one for each residential unit. A roof deck will be located at the top of the structure. Construction costs are estimated at $1,246,000.

The two new buildings set to rise at the site will bring a combined total of 13 residential units to the neighborhood, a significant density boost for a currently vacant property. Considering the size of the lot, it is possible that more permits will be issued in the future, as the property could likely accommodate at least one or two more structures.

No completion date is known yet for the project, although the development may be completed by 2022.
