The Poplar neighborhood in North Philadelphia continues to grow, with new developments nearing completion, under construction, or in planning. At 900 North Street, a project called The Delilah will consist of two buildings connected by sky bridges. Designed by Cosica Moos Architecture and developed by the APOM Holdings, the project will feature the east building rising to a total height of 134 feet and 11 stories, while the west building will rise 154 feet and 12 stories. The development is sited across from The Poplar, which YIMBY recently covered in a tour.

In the last update on the project, there was no visible progress on the building. The site was filled with containers, construction materials, and other material from the ongoing renovation of The Poplar, which at the time was having its final coat of paint, as the 900 North Street site is used for construction staging for the former. A few workers were observed at the site.

Recently, it appears that more material has arrived at the site as The Poplar is planning to finish construction in a few months from now. The view from The Poplar gives a clear look at the site where the two buildings will rise. From where the site was observed, a large room in The Poplar is dedicated to the sales gallery of 900 North 8th Street. The room also provided high-quality exterior renderings of the project.
No anticipated completion date has yet been announced.
