Permits have been filed for the demolition of a two-story prewar rowhouse at 1930 South 60th Street in Kingsessing, Southwest Philadelphia. The single-family dwelling is located near the corner of South 60th Street and Regent Street and will be torn down as part of the City of Philadelphia Demolition Program at a cost of $12,992. The property is owned by Robert Stone. The contractor listed for the work is Pedro Palmer Construction.

The building features a brick exterior with a deep porch, a setback second floor, and stucco on the sides. No stucco or a sidewalk replacement will be needed when the structure is demolished, but an erosion control mat with seed will be placed at the site. No sidewalk work will be performed.

The 13 trolley stops a block to the northwest, at North 60th Street and Chester Avenue. Two and a half blocks to the northeast is the Francis Myers Park and the Francis Myers Recreational Center located at 5801 Kingsessing Avenue. Cobbs Creek Park sits wtin a 10-minute walk to the northwest.
