Last month, Philly YIMBY shared our latest exterior photos of Standard At Philadelphia, a 209-foot-tall, 19-story residential high-rise recently completed at 119 South 31st Street in University CityWest Philadelphia. Designed by CUBE 3 and developed by Landmark Properties, the 362,117-square-foot building rises from a narrow, through-block lot stretching between South 30th and South 31st streets. The Standard offers 280 residential units ranging from studios to six-bedroom apartments geared toward university students and available for rent on a per-person/per-bed basis. Renderings have been revealed for a 12-story, 136-unit mixed-use development at 4040-50 Walnut Street in University CityWest Philadelphia. The building will rise \138 feet tall, with two commercial spaces on the ground floor along Walnut Street, totaling 5,000 square feet of space. The second floor will be devoted to office space, spanning 15,972 square feet. The upper floors will hold residential units. Parking for 23 cars and 48 bicycles will be included within the project.

A few days ago, Philly YIMBY shared a construction update for The Standard At Philadelphia, a 209-foot-tall, 19-story residential tower under construction at 119 South 31st Street in University CityWest Philadelphia. Designed by CUBE 3 and developed by Landmark Properties, the 362,117-square-foot structure will rise from a narrow, through-block lot stretching between South 30th and South 31st streets, and will house 280 residential units geared toward university students. Our recent visit has revealed that on-site demolition has been completed and foundation work is currently in progress. Today we share another look at the construction progress and how it affects the unusual and varied conditions that flank the site on three sides.

Construction work is beginning to make headway at The Standard At Philadelphia, a high-rise development underway at 119 South 31st Street in University CityWest Philadelphia. Designed by Cube3, the new tower will stand 19 stories and approximately 210 feet all. The structure will hold 280 residential units, targeted towards student housing, as well as 37 parking spaces to serve these residential units. Permits list the cost of construction at $50 million.
